NARS lipstick from Chinatown

Hello lovelies

Isn’t that a catchy title? I am not click baiting you, I promise. How are you doing? I am doing alright and as you can see I am also trying to be more consistent with my uploads on the new blog. Please let me know how you are finding it so far.

Some few weekends ago I went to Chinatown to go get some cheap supplies and I left with a lot more than I bargained to buy. The real reason I went to Chinatown was to go get some false lashes. They have a packet of three pairs for only R16. I have been trying out false lashes lately and found that those are a great way to start practising since I ruined two expensive pairs from Clicks R40 each(comes with glue though). And on top of that I find that they are light and have sparse hairs, perfect for first timers like me. I have to admit I have gotten better with each application.

all under R150

On the list of the things that I bought are the NARS lipstick, an eye shadow brush(love it),another set of lashes but they are more dramatic, hair ties, a My Little Pony knock off pony (Mpho loves it), Avon Far Away Gold, and a setting spray. Please don’t judge me, when I saw the lipsticks I immediately thought I should try them for the blog, I don’t encourage anyone to go buy those products though.

I love the eye shadow brush and I am considering to go buy more ones from that line, they look really nice and feel nice as well. For me this is a better alternative than waiting 2 months for my AliExpress packages hence I went to Chinatown. I will also continue to go buy the lashes, I have received compliments about how pretty they look. When I feel like a pro then I will get the expensive EyeLure brand, I am just not comfortable with how they will look on me though, they are so bushy.

they shed if you soak them to remove the glue though

Now onto the NARS lol. You don’t need to know anything about Nars to know that that lipstick is a knock off, like fong kong(aka fake). I bought it because of the colour. The colour looks great on me and for my skin tone. I want to say that this was a safe way of experimenting with it financially and that’s it. Now I can toss it in the bin because after three days of using it consecutively I got a blister on the inside corner of my lip, which has now taken two days to heal. Like I have mentioned earlier on I do not advice you to go by these products because they are not regulated and there are no ingredients list on them so basically you do not know what is being applied on to your skin.
I have not used the setting spray, I did rub it on my skin to see if it will cause any irritation.

Have you bought any skin products from China Town? Please let us know your experience and let me know if you would like more content like this.

Until next post, God bless...
