NARS lipstick from Chinatown

Hello lovelies Isn’t that a catchy title? I am not click baiting you, I promise. How are you doing? I am doing alright and as you can see I am also trying to be more consistent with my uploads on the new blog. Please let me know how you are finding it so far. Some few weekends ago I went to Chinatown to go get some cheap supplies and I left with a lot more than I bargained to buy. The real reason I went to Chinatown was to go get some false lashes. They have a packet of three pairs for only R16. I have been trying out false lashes lately and found that those are a great way to start practising since I ruined two expensive pairs from Clicks R40 each(comes with glue though). And on top of that I find that they are light and have sparse hairs, perfect for first timers like me. I have to admit I have gotten better with each application. all under R150  On the list of the things that I bought are the NARS lipstick, an eye shadow brush(love it),ano...

Local Hair products to support 2

Hello lovely, Just though I should do a quick post for you, so that you don't forget about me. I am ever so tempted to go buy the next product at my local Clicks or Dischem (Dark and lovely is not making it easy hey) and then I remind myself there are willing South Africans out there who are in need of my support and this platform is also another way of getting them known and spreading the love. I am sure some of them you have heard of and some you have probably seen on TV. Nilotiqa If you have not seen them on TV then you are seeing them here. This brand has been flooding my timeline on Instagram since I am following a natural hair movement and I have been hearing good things about it. And as usual I am always on the lookout for local brands. I just wish they were readily available in Cape Town. I have also been eyeing their detangler, can't wait to get my hands on it. Living with Heat Damage

Heloo Lovelies, Glorious heat style I am currently writing this sitting in a hot bus, the heat in Cape Town is unbearable some days. And the make up on my face is literally sliding off(this is the number one reason why I don’t wear make-up in summer). Enough of my rant, how are you doing? Great I hope. I may have mentioned briefly in one of my previous posts and on my Instagram account that I had some heat damage. This happened towards the end of 2017. You’ll find that most people cut off their hair when they have had heat damage but I have decided not to and live through it. I noticed that it was not so bad that I need to cut my hair off. How did I end up here? I have straightened my hair before and blow dried it numerous times, one would think I am a pro by now. I had a shortage of products and was trying to attempt the most straight look I could get(that was my mistake). I had a list of products to purchase in my head and when the time neared I did not bu...

Putting Everything Together

Hello lovelies, I am sure by now you have been wondering what has happened to the hair blog and the spiritual blog, obviously to the people who have been following them respectively. I should have made an announcement before deciding on the change, it happened on a whim. I have been slacking on both blogs and decided that it would be easier to have them on one platform. In that way I can give you constant posts on either hair or spirituality.  I personally update the blog(posts and technical things), so this is going to be less maintenance as well going to forward. All of the wonderful things from both blogs are still in the archives and will remain there for your usage. With that said, I humbly apologise for the sudden change I hope it won't send you running for the hills. This is going to be a mesh up of both worlds. I am a Christian and I believe in harmony, not separating things but rather making them work together. This was always my first initiative-when I created M...
